Overview

Join us for our fourth introductory training cohort on Treating Antisemitism-Related Stress & Trauma in Emerging Adulthood. This live 90-minute session is designed for mental health professionals, educators, and community leaders seeking to better understand and address the psychological impact of antisemitism on young adults (ages 18–29).

This training provides a foundational framework for recognizing and responding to trauma-related symptoms that emerge from experiences of antisemitism, including microaggressions, hate-based violence, identity suppression, and inherited trauma.

Participants will explore both historical and contemporary contexts of antisemitism, alongside evidence-informed strategies to support healing, resilience, and identity integration in emerging adults.

Learning Objectives

By the end of this training, participants will be able to:

  • Identify common psychological responses to antisemitism-related stress and trauma in emerging adults.

  • Understand the historical and intergenerational impact of antisemitism on identity development.

  • Apply trauma-informed approaches to support clients processing antisemitic experiences.

  • Integrate culturally responsive practices into therapeutic or educational settings.

Target Audience

This training is ideal for:

  • Licensed mental health professionals (therapists, social workers, counselors, psychologists)

  • Graduate students and trainees in mental health fields

  • School counselors, educators, and youth program facilitators

  • Community and faith-based leaders working with young adults

  • Anyone interested in expanding their understanding of antisemitism and trauma
